The Basketball Africa League's all-time leading scorer is Chris Crawford, with 547 points in 32 games over five seasons. Abdoulaye Harouna is second with 532. The gap is 15 points, and Harouna has been second since 2024.
Neither was the first leader. That was Terrell Stoglin, and on the rate at which he scored, nobody has come close to him since.

Stoglin's two seasons
Stoglin scored 123 points in four games for Morocco's AS Salé in the first BAL season in 2021, including 40 in one game, and led the BAL's career scoring list after one season. In 2022 he scored 185 more in six games, with a 41-point game, and after two seasons he had 308 points. Nobody else had 200.
He has two of the six highest-scoring games in BAL history, and his career average of 27.4 points a game, over 12 games, is the best of any player with at least ten. The next best is Teafale Lenard's 21.1.
2023: the lead changes hands, between teammates
Stoglin moved to AS Douanes for 2023 and played two games for them, scoring 21. One of his new teammates was Crawford, who scored 152 in eight games and went past him: after 2023 Crawford had 343 points and Stoglin 329. Stoglin has not played in the BAL since.
Crawford and Harouna
Crawford had been scoring from the start: 84 points for US Monastir in 2021, 107 for SLAC in 2022 and 152 for AS Douanes in 2023. He scored 152 again for Monastir in 2024, which took him to 495.
Harouna was never far behind. He has played in all six BAL seasons, each time for a different club, which is the BAL record for most clubs. In 2025, a season Crawford did not play, Harouna's 53 points for ASC Ville de Dakar took him to 490, five behind.
In 2026 Crawford scored 52 in five games for JCA Kings. Harouna scored 42 in two games for FUS Rabat. That is where it stands.
| Season | Crawford | Harouna |
|---|---|---|
| 2021 | 84 (US Monastir) | 77 (FAP) |
| 2022 | 107 (SLAC) | 119 (AS Salé) |
| 2023 | 152 (AS Douanes) | 104 (Abidjan Basket Club) |
| 2024 | 152 (US Monastir) | 137 (AS Douanes) |
| 2025 | did not play | 53 (ASC Ville de Dakar) |
| 2026 | 52 (JCA Kings) | 42 (FUS Rabat) |
| Total | 547 | 532 |
Who else is in range
Childe Dundão is third with 509, all of them for Petro de Luanda, in 49 games, more than anyone above him on the list. His 147 points in 2026 were his best season. Will Perry has 496 and Majok Deng 473, the last of them in only 29 games over three seasons. A big 2027 season from any of them would change the top of the list.
