Zamalek has been busy this offseason and has extended its core players and added Abdulraham Saad and Khaled Abdelnasser for the 2022-23 season.
On June 3, the signing of Abdulraham Saad was announced. Saad is a member of the Qatari basketball team but also holds an Egyptian passport. He comes over from Al-Gharafa where he averaged 19.7 points, 4.0 and 4.7 assists in the Qatari Basketball League.
Egyptian national team Khaled Abdelnasser joins the team. The 2.04m power forward comes over from Tanta SC. The big man averaged 5.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in the 2023 FIBA World Cup qualifiers.
