The Mozambican representative in the BAL, Ferroviário de Maputo, has unveiled their full roster on their official Twitter. The roster includes newly signed PG Myck Kabongo.
Myck Kabongo, a Congolese international point guard, has recently joined the team from Maputo. He most recently played in Serbia with Akademija FMP. Another new signing is D’Marcus Holland, an American guard who last played in Germany for Jena.
Another important player for Maputo is Alvaro Masa. The Spanish veteran, 38 years old, led the team in scoring during the BAL Qualifiers with 21.2 points per game.
Maputo will be playing in Group C and will face Zamalek (EGY), AS Douanes (SEN) and GS Pétroliers (ALG). The top two teams and the two-best number threes advance to the playoffs.
